Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice. (Psalm 55:17)
Have you ever prayed to God asking for guidance through a situation, to comfort your soul during the grieving process or just to say thank you for something? I guess the better question should be, did God answer your prayer?
Most people define prayer as a solemn request for help or expression of thanks addressed to God or an object of worship. Itís important for us to build a healthy and consistent relationship with God and not just pray when we are in trouble. Spend time reading Godís Word, pray, and meditate to strengthen your spiritual foundation. Throughout your journey, remember to trust God, His integrity, His compassion, His love, and His wisdom will always show up to help you overcome lifeís challenges.
Hereís six prayers God will always answer:
1. Glorify yourself through me (Habakkuk 2:14)
2. Forgive me (I John 1:9)
3. Reveal more of yourself to me (Jeremiah 31:33-34)
4. Give me wisdom (James 1:5)
5. Strengthen me to obey you (Philippians 2:12-13)
6. Spread your gospel to the lost (Matthew 24:14)
Remember, God is strong, gracious, forgiving, loving, and all-powerful. When it seems like there is nowhere to turn to or nowhere to go, refer to the six prayers that God will always answer. As you continue your spiritual journey, remember God answers our prayers in His timing, not ours.
