Is Church Away From Church The Same?

I read the article above that was in my e-mail in-box and thought I would share to get your opinions.

I discussed with my roommate and she made a good point. "Where two or three are gathered..." See her point?

My point is this... If I cannot get to Mass, I participate in The Sunday Mass on my laptop. According to, this is the same as attending Mass in a physical building.

Also, for example, Joyce Meyer Ministries is yet another outlet for those who cannot get to church.

I do not have a vehicle and depend upon a friend to take me to Mass. So, should I just say, "if my neighbor cannot take me, well, I am not in a physical church building, so I guess taking part in Mass or church on-line or on televisioin is a waste of time." That is like saying a person cannot wear blue jeans to church because God only accepts a dress or skirt on a woman and suit and tie on a man.

I hope I have made some sense. How do you feel about this predicament? Leave a comment with your opinions!
