Do Not Let Fear And Anxiety Control You

God tells us numerous times in the Bible, not to be afraid or have anxiety. Believe me, I know this is easier said than done. I, personally, know what it is like.


But, you just cannot allow your life to be consumed by fear and anxiety.

What is a physical symptom? A large belly. Fear and anxiety cause your body to over-produce cortisol, a stress hormone, that goes straight to your stomach, causing the most dangerous fat, belly fat.

Along with reading the highlighted Bible verses above, there are other coping skills:

Have a warm drink.
Listen to calming music.
Take a short siesta.
Color in adult coloring books.

Would you like to know what I do? I clip coupons! I find it calming that I might possibly save money on my next shopping trip!

So, for your next assignment, jam-pack that mental "toolbox" of your's with coping skills. The next time you have fear or anxiety, take out a tool!
