Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
God’s Word warns us not to put our confidence in humans, but to trust God to meet our needs. Trust requires us to trust ourselves into God’s care even when we are scared or uncomfortable.

We can trust God to accomplish his purposes in our lives. We don’t have to know what God is doing, we just need to trust Him. I am content in all circumstances because my trust is in God. Trusting God and refusing to complain in hard times greatly honors Him.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1
Here are some ways to help build your trust in God:
• Pray, meditate, and read God’s Word
• Don’t worry about problems, turn it over to God
• Improve your relationship with God
• Attend church services regularly
• Surround yourself with positive and uplifting people
• Spend time in praise & worship
There is no value in saying how much we trust God when all is well if, when the test comes, we can say and sincerely mean, “I trust You, Lord.”
